Welcoming the Sage 200 Suite

Advent are delighted to announce the launch of the Sage 200 business management software suite, formerly known as Sage MMS. Sage 200 helps companies manage a complete range of business processes with a single suite of integrated business software.

The foundation of the new Sage 200 Suite is the Sage 200 Platform, which comprises both the Sage 200 Financials and Sage 200 CRM (Customer Relationship Management) modules. The introduction of CRM to the suite underpins a number of business processes, including sales, marketing, customer and supplier relationships.

Customers can choose to build on their core Sage 200 Platform by adding extra modules, such as, Bill of Materials, Commercials, Project Accounting, Construction, or by simply adding extra users to the core functions to suit their individual business requirements.

Re-brand of Sage Line 50 Software Range

Advent would like to inform our customers of the upcoming re-branding of Sage Line 50. From August 2007, Line 50 will now be known as Sage 50 to align with the recent re-brand of Sage MMS to Sage 200. The different versions of Line 50 will now change as follows:

  • Line 50 Accountant becomes Sage 50 Accounts
  • Line 50 Accountant Plus becomes Sage 50 Accounts Plus
  • Line 50 Financial Controller becomes Sage 50 Accounts Professional

To coincide with this re-branding exercise, Sage will also launch the latest version of Sage Line 50/Sage 50: Sage 50 2008. With Sage 50 2008, keep an eye on profits while controlling costs, time, VAT and more!

Take Five Upgrade to Sage 200

We would like to take this opportunity to also remind our Take Five customers that from 1st October 2007 Version 3.00 of Take Five Enterprise will be the only supported version until the overall Take Five End of Life on 30th September 2008.

With this End of Life in mind, the team at Advent would strongly recommend you begin considering upgrading your system to either Sage 50 or Sage 200 and to work with Advent's consultants to develop an upgrade plan for your system. Also by ordering your upgrade before 1st October 2007, you can also avail of a 50% trade-in discount.
